If You Are Teaching Young Children, THIS is the Most Important Message You'll Read Today...
NEW DISCOVERY IN POPULARITY PSYCHOLOGY CAN DRAMATICALLY INCREASE YOUR STUDENTS' ENGAGEMENT AND PARTICIPATION.
I remember one semester in particular that was really hard. One full of challenges.
New country. New language. New school. New methodology. Brand new students.
This is how bad it was...
My 8 A.M. class would start like this.
Martin, a 2-year-old, would arrive first. Yelling and screaming at the top of his lungs the second he stepped into the school. He refused to enter the class unless his nanny stayed with him the whole time.
Esteban would cling to his dad because he didn't want to come to school. We struggled every class to convince him to let go of his dad.
Sweet Mimi would burst into tears at the most unexpected moments. She was so sensitive and fragile that I never knew what would trigger an outburst.
Little Tina would constantly run out of the room crying, looking for her mom and soother. We had to pull a teacher from another class to deal with this situation...
Samuel, a curious 3-year-old, would wander off from the group whenever he felt like it. Because the school had no doors, it was impossible to keep him in one place. I was constantly doing head-counts to make sure I didn't loose anyone!
Jorge would hardly speak. He just sat there staring. It felt like no matter how much effort I put in, he would never repeat a word in English.
And then there was Pablo. He seemed to have the gift of annoying everyone at school. Interrupting me, other students and whatever activity we were doing. Being twice the age of the other students turned him into the official bully of the class.
Having all these students in the same class, at the same time, for 3 hours was challenging. Overwhelming to say the least.
Some days I would come home crying. I felt clueless and hopeless. I thought I had tried it all.
But I was missing something...
Now I call it "The Magic of Circle Time"
I asked myself... How could I get all my students to work together?
So I started my quest to understand what was really going on.
I read every book I could get my hands on. Attended workshops and seminars. Watched everything I could find on the subject.
But it wasn't enough. Most of it explained the same principles in different words.
So I kept going into other subjects. From sources as diverse as:
That's when I discovered a pearl of wisdom that would change everything for me.
I realized there was a recurring theme I hadn't noticed before...
At the heart of all these subjects was a unique and powerful concept. That's when I realized...
And it wasn't about:
In theory, I didn't have to do much. Just set the environment and let the magic happen...
Wrong. I wish I could tell you it was a magic wand.
It wasn't. But...
In the beginning, there were some rough edges and hiccups. But through trial and error, I figured out what I was doing wrong.
From then on, it worked and it made a huge difference in my class.
The yelling and screaming stopped. Now, kids were waving goodbye to their parents and giving me a big welcome hug.
Kids would no longer run out the room. Instead, they would say what they wanted and ask me for help. If they started crying, I knew how to comfort them.
I knew something magical had happened when I saw both bully and bullied holding hands and singing a song.
It was an amazing transformation. So much so that,
Helping other teachers gave me a different perspective.
It got me thinking...
Why do so many teachers have these problems?
The answer was really clear.
We teach the way we were taught. The old-school education system is to blame.
It used to work to train people to become factory workers. But today's world is different.
Think about a bad teacher you had... Maybe she said you would never be good at something. Maybe she yelled at you for something you did. Maybe she made you feel bad for making a mistake... whatever it was...
I bet you don't have good memories of that teacher. Or you didn't learn much from that class.
One thing is for sure. Unless you teach in a different way, you'll repeat those mistakes with your students.
Again, we tend to teach the way we were taught. But we don't have to continue that way.
Once you realize what's working against you, you can change it.
So I shared my process with my friends. I was happy to see it worked for them too.
They got it easier because they didn't have to figure things out on their own.
This program was never released before. Here you have it...
Now, of course, you can go on a quest of your own...
But why would you?
I made plenty of mistakes figuring this out. Why would you make it hard on yourself?
Each and every teaching course I have ever done, gave me some good tips. But I always felt like something was missing.
It was when I discovered this core principle that everything came together and made sense.
Canadian teacher trainer and school owner. Author of the book “ESL Games For Kids”
Her Youtube channel “English Language Games” was voted #64 in the category of "Best Teacher Trainer" in the world.
Her programs help teachers create a positive learning environment in their classes, making both learning and teaching more enjoyable.
"Where did we ever get the crazy idea that in order to make children do better, first we have to make them feel worse? Think of the last time you felt humiliated or treated unfairly. Did you feel like cooperating or doing better?”
"Joy and enthusiasm are absolutely essential for learning to happen -- literally, scientifically, as a matter of fact and research. Shouldn't it be our challenge and opportunity to design learning that embraces these ingredients?"
"...those who wish for intrinsic rewards, like those that come from close and caring relationships, personal growth, and helping others, report far greater happiness, vitality, self-esteem, and even physical health. But wishing for extrinsic goals—fame, power, excessive wealth, and beauty—is associated with discontent, anxiety, and depression.”
Even people outside of my school kept asking for advice, to apply to their specific situation. Like school owners, new teachers, coordinators even curriculum developers.
Their questions helped me polish the process even more. And after a while, I decided to turn it into a program so more people could break free from old habits.
Imagine a class where students feel at ease, where they feel acknowledged and respected... that they believe they are important to the group. Where they feel free to express themselves, and are not afraid of making mistakes. They treat others with respect because they know that people care about them. A class where they are encouraged to speak and they participate because they feel listened to, valued, and appreciated. They understand that your class is a place where they belong. Where they feel warm, welcomed ... at home... like a family.
How proud would you be to know that this is your class? Knowing that when your job is done... they will take what you taught them and it will be an important piece of their lives?
How excited would you be to do it all over again with the next class? ...and the one after that? How optimistic would you become? How motivated? How happier will you be as a teacher?
I traveled the world looking for answers. I have paid up to $2000 for courses and training. I kept going until I found the answer. I could offer this program to the big names of the teaching industry. And they would be happy to pay any price for it. I could turn it into book too.
But I want to make this program available to as many teachers as I can. So instead of making it available for $47, like my most successful program, you can have instant access to it for just $7.
If you work for a school, you'll become a hero to coordinators and school directors because your students will love your classes.
If you work privately, you'll make more money because students will want to continue... and... parents will be happy to continue paying for your classes.
However, if for whatever reason you are not fully satisfied with these teaching insights, just tell me and I will give you a full refund.I Want it Risk Free!
